Our Pastor
Pastor Ray Crocker was privileged to grow up in the home of a Baptist preacher. Shortly after Ray’s salvation, during a mission conference, the Lord stirred his heart toward missions.
While attending Baptist Bible College in Springfield, Missouri, Ray met Ginger and married her in June 1973. After they took a mission trip in 1974, the Lord called them to be missionaries in South Korea. After graduating in 1975, Ray served as the associate pastor of the Temple Baptist Church in Selma, North Carolina. Subsequent to their deputation, Ray and Ginger arrived in South Korea in January 1977, where they served for sixteen years. The Lord had once again stirred their hearts.
After receiving an invitation from Dr. Worth Worley to assist him in starting the Heritage Baptist School of Theology, Ray and Ginger moved to Singapore in 1994. The following year, when the Worleys answered God’s call to go to Eastern Russia, Heritage Baptist Church voted for Ray to become the senior pastor.
Ray and Ginger have two grown sons, Caleb (a professor at Pensacola Christian College in Pensacola, Florida) and Benjamin (a deputy sheriff in Wayne County, North Carolina), along with four grandsons.
